What Flavor is a Princess?

So, I was shopping in a local store a few weeks ago browsing the cake supplies when I stumbled across this...      I was a bit puzzled by the name, as really nowhere did it specifically state what the flavor was.  Eventually I found some very small print that implied it was a sweet, buttery flavor.  Weird.
I do have to admit that this product inspired numerous semi-obscene comments from my co-workers, though.  We are a warped bunch.

Ooh, I have that same flavoring. I assume it's meant to mimic the flavors one would find in a princess cake: cake layered with pastry cream and encased in marzipan. Sometimes there's a fruit jam flavor in the mix (usually raspberry). If you've never tried the cake I highly recommend it. I'm drooling just thinking about it. I bought the flavoring from King Arthur Flour and their description says, "a light, nutty taste, accented with overtones of citrus and rich vanilla." Not quite sure why the citrus is thrown in but it makes for a tasty combo.

I have never heard of a princess cake. I wonder if it is similar to fairy cakes? I will get around to making something with this eventually. I'm glad to know that it is a good flavor. How can you go wrong with a nutty citrus vanilla? (Okay, the citrus part seems a bit out of place, but maybe the acidity enhances the other flavors.) Thanks for the response!
