Reinventing your food habits is hard.  If you love guacamole, but don't want that much fat in your diet, you can try this simple recipe for mockamole.  Don't let the ingredients scare you; it is delicious and couldn't be easier!


1 can asparagus (chopped is fine)
1 packet of guacamole seasoning (if you make your guacamole from scratch, just use your spice mix)
1 lime or lemon

Drain the asparagus and place in blender or food processor; blend until broken up; add guacamole seasoning packet; blend until smooth; top with fresh-squeezed juice from lime or lemon or serve with wedges.
