Day 16: Challenge - Oklahoma Women Bloggers Photo Challenge

The challenge was not gobbling up these beautiful cookies! The black satin chocolate ghost was filled with white chocolate ganache. The cookie itself was a bit bland, but the ganache was good. The pumpkin spice macaron was divine.

My hope is this blog will inspire someone to try something new or maybe just to bake more often. I believe in comfort food and am interested in the stories behind the food. I would love to hear your stories, as well.

Sometimes, I may post something non-food related. That wasn't the original plan, but I have recently begun crafting a bit more and plan to post some of those. I may also occasionally post from other people's blogs (with the proper permission and credit, of course).

I am just an everyday person who bakes to help make people happy, relieve stress, and have fun. I especially enjoy decorating the baked goods in unusual ways and trying new recipes when I have the time. I am a huge fan of "Hello, Cupcake!" (the book and website) and love their ideas.
